FURIA launched the FURIA Skate Club project

The Brazilian esports organization FURIA has announced the launch of its new project called FURIA Skate Club. As part of the launch of the initiative, the club has signed Brazilian professional skateboarder Lua Vicente. The project is said to "influence communities in Brazil and abroad through skateboarding."

We have a few esports businesses, but we also have chess, poker, streamers creating a variety of content, and we want to increase our impact on traditional and extreme sports. One of these areas is skateboarding. We want to create a relationship club between FURIA and skateboarding where we can support skateboarding in every possible way, whether it's building tracks in the future, supporting athletes in competitions or attracting official athletes. We call it FURIA Skate Club because it really is a club, a way for those who love skateboarding and enjoy things that are already associated with FURIA to have more of that synergy with us.

FURIA Skate Club will support aspiring skaters by organizing events and improving existing skateparks for local residents. In addition, the Brazilian organization plans to attract partners for events, as well as launch a number of initiatives dedicated to skateboarding.

I live the dream. As if all the difficulties overcome were not enough, now the goal is to fly as high as possible in order to reach the next goal together. I feel like I can reach new heights in my career and fulfill my dream of becoming one of the best skateboarders in the world. I am happy to represent the FURIA Skate Club brand and show the world my performances in competitions.

This is the first appearance of FURIA in 2023 on the scale of business initiatives. At the end of last year, the organization terminated its partnership with the FTX cryptocurrency exchange, and also entered into a partnership with the stream management platform Streamcoi.
