FTX Becomes FURIA Sponsor
The Brazilian esports organization FURIA has announced the signing of a sponsorship agreement with the FTX cryptocurrency exchange. It is reported that the company will pay about 3.2 million dollars to become a sponsor of the Brazilian club for a year.
The one-year deal is expected to be the first step as the organization seeks to establish a "long-term relationship" with the sponsor.
FURIA is more than a sports organization, we are a socio-cultural movement. We want to make a difference in people's lives, whether it's our professional athletes, streamers or employees, through sports, performance, technology and good decision making. We care about the future and the lives of people who are connected with us. We are not only looking for sponsors, but also partners who want to grow with us, with our bold ideas and the search for change.
Last year, FTX set the stage on fire when it announced a 10-year, $210 million sponsorship deal with North American esports organization TSM. Soon after, the company also became a sponsor of the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS).
We are very careful in our dialogue with our fans. In our own list of athletes, there are people who do not understand anything, but there are also those who understand cryptocurrencies. These are streamers that cover different niches and age groups. Each of them will help to plant this little seed within their level of knowledge. Those who know little will learn with their community and share that knowledge.
Note that in addition to FTX, FURIA's commercial portfolio includes such brands and companies as Pokerstars, Red Bull, AOC, Santander, Betway, HyperX and Twitch.
