FURIA terminates agreement with FTX after the bankruptcy of the crypto exchange

Brazilian esports organization FURIA has decided to end its partnership with FTX following the bankruptcy of the cryptocurrency exchange. This was announced by Andre Akkari, co-founder of the Brazilian club, referring to the decision of the now former partner.

FURIA pays close attention to all its partners, always considers the opportunity to contribute to working with them, but gives top priority to its fans.

The current case of our cryptocurrency sponsor, which is all over the news, serves as an example. After speaking with our colleagues at the company, it has been decided that FURIA will terminate FTX's partnerships by removing the brand from all of its social media. The goal is to keep the current stage of the company from hurting us as a sponsor.

FURIA continues to value our strong partners and promote them, however always prioritizing our fans at all costs.

The one-year deal between FURIA and FTX was signed in April 2022 and was valued at approximately $3,200,000. And then the Brazilian organization intended to establish a long-term relationship with the sponsor.

Note that the FTX logo has already disappeared from the jersey of the CS:GO organization, which is currently playing in the playoffs of the home IEM Rio Major 2022.

Recently, FTX filed for bankruptcy with Deleware, which led to a dramatic turn in the fortunes of one of the largest crypto exchanges. It is noteworthy that FTX is also the largest partner of the TSM organization, however, the further fate of this transaction is currently unclear. In addition, the cryptocurrency exchange previously signed a seven-year contract with the League of Legends Championship Series (LCS).
