Prominent esports organizations team up to raise funds for earthquake victims in Turkey
Well-known esports organizations have teamed up to raise funds for the victims of the earthquake in Turkey. As part of helping those in need, clubs have launched a campaign in which everyone can purchase winter clothes for those in need. The Turkish Eternal Fire team was responsible for organizing the gathering.
We are following with regret the process following the natural disaster in Turkey. All our people have come together to do more than they can. We also continue our work without interruption for the needs of those affected by the earthquake. We have teamed up with our friendly esports clubs and together started a charity campaign to supply and deliver warm clothing to the region to help people in need in the earthquake zone. All of our fans can also purchase what is sold in the Eternal Fire store and help send help.
Many well-known esports organizations not only in Turkey, but also in Europe have joined the campaign. Together with Eternal Fire, clubs such as SAW, Sangal Esports, Heroic, BIG, Sprout, Astralis, Nexus Gaming, FUT Esports, Bad News Bears, Anonymo Esports and GamerLegion are participating in fundraising for the victims.
According to the latest reports, the number of victims of the earthquake in Turkey has risen to 5,434, injured - 31,777. On February 6, 2023, a series of powerful earthquakes and subsequent aftershocks occurred in the Eastern Mediterranean. As a result, several cities in the country at the junction of tectonic plates were subjected to powerful earthquakes with a magnitude of up to 7.8 points.
