Esports World Cup Keeps Attracting Stars: Post Malone to Perform at the Opening Ceremony

From July 8 to August 24, 2025, Riyadh will host the Esports World Cup, which is set to become the largest esports event of the year. The tournament will feature 25 different disciplines, with a staggering total prize pool of $70.45 million. It was recently announced that Cristiano Ronaldo will serve as the official ambassador of the event — and now, organizers have shared even more exciting news: Post Malone will perform during the opening ceremony of the Esports World Cup 2025.

American rapper Post Malone will take part in the opening ceremony of Esports World Cup 2025 as one of the main musical guests.

This isn’t the artist’s first involvement in gaming and esports. Back in 2024, Post Malone collaborated with Respawn Entertainment and EA on a special project for Apex Legends.

In August 2020, he also became part of the Envy Gaming ownership group, acquiring an undisclosed stake in the company. Later, the North American organization merged with Native Gaming, significantly expanding its presence across multiple esports titles.

The Esports World Cup 2025 opening ceremony is scheduled for July 10.
