As a result, GRID Esports will open a separate hub for Cover.gg, which will use Tournament Series data to provide users with data on matches, scores, top players, maps, and more.

Harry Wiggett, Head of Sponsorship at GRID Esports: "From the very beginning of CCT, we wanted to create a data-driven ecosystem that empowers every aspect of the CS:GO space, from players and organizations to companies like Cover.gg. Our combined efforts allow us to further strengthen this ecosystem and create a comprehensive CCT tournament experience that all fans can participate in."

Cover.gg becomes the sixth partner of the Champion of Champions Tour, joining Parimatch, ARterra Labs, Bitskins, StreamCards and Amazon Web Services.

The overall Champion of Champions series system for 2022-2024 is as follows:

  1. 44 open regional qualifiers.
  2. 44 online tournaments.
  3. 11 studio finals.
  4. Global LAN Finals.

GRID Esports and its founding partners (FACEIT, Eden Esports, Relog Media, Black Molly Entertainment, Fantasy Expo) jointly announced a new tournament called "Champion of Champions Tour (CCT)", which will run from August 2022 to January 2024 year and will offer a prize pool of $3.4 million.
