Brazilian organizations Vivo Keyd and Stars Horizon announced a merger
Brazilian esports organizations Vivo Keyd and Stars Horizon have announced a joint management structure, forming one joint venture. The new organization will be called "Vivo Keyd Stars", referring to the organization's former names.
In order to realize everything we plan for the community, we have already strengthened our internal team with the arrival of more than 20 professionals who are already working in the gaming universe and beyond, and who have the goal of bringing a new vision to the business. In the first phase, we consolidated operations and strengthened our main marketing and commercial activities, and we hope to start this wonderful project on the right foot.
The cost of the newly formed organization is £16.94 million, according to Forbes. The new board of directors includes President Pedro Schmidt (Stars Horizon), Vice President Edu Kim (Vivo Keyd), CEO Hugo Tristan (Newzoo) and CEO Enrique Marquez. Vivo Keyd Stars will also strengthen its management staff with staff from companies such as Garena, communications conglomerate Globo and fitness content platform FitDance.
It is likely after this merger that Vivo Keyd Stars will acquire the Miners' seat in the Brazilian League of Legends Championship (CBLOL) franchise. It is likely that the joint brand will also continue to perform in the VALORANT and Free Fire disciplines.
