Invictus Gaming International remains without an Apex Legends coach
EMEF announced his resignation as head coach of Invictus Gaming International's Apex Legends roster. The 22-year-old British specialist announced this on his Twitter, citing the difference in vision for the team's game as the main reason for his departure.
Today is my last day with the core team I created a year and a half ago. Although we have remained at the top of the European scene throughout our time together, our potential on the world stage has unfortunately not yet been tapped. The fact that we were not allowed to perform at the highest level that we performed in the run-up to the event, due to factors beyond our control, broke the hearts of all four of us.
I wish I could personally support my team to make things a little easier for them, but that clearly wasn't meant to be. My vision of the game and the team has been different for quite a while now, and it's better for both sides to avoid an inconsistent structure. All you can do for now is move on.
It always sounded corny when I heard others say it, but we really never would have gotten this far without our fans we've built over the past ~2 years and I'm grateful for the faith they've given me and the team.
EMEF has led the British team since last August, when the Chinese club signed Endeavor. Over the past season, the 22-year-old British specialist led the team to victories at VERSUS - ARENA #8 and VERSUS - LEGENDS #3.
In addition, under his leadership, Invictus Gaming International took 4th place in the Apex Legends Global Series: Split 1 Playoffs - EMEA, 31st place in the Apex Legends Global Series: Split 2 Playoffs, and 19th place in the Apex Legends Global Series: 2022 Championship.
From now on, the composition of Invictus Gaming International in the Apex Legends discipline is as follows:
- brynn
- Noises
- jmw
