Astralis appoints Samantha Foltmar as Head of Digital
Danish esports organization Astralis has announced the appointment of Samantha Foltmar, formerly of Universal Music Group, as head of its digital division. Voltmar, along with other members of the Danish club, will develop and refine the organization's digital strategy and raise the profile of its content across multiple platforms.
Prior to joining the Danish organisation, Foltmar was a social media presenter for the Danish television station TV 2 ZULU. Through this role, she spearheaded the company's social media strategy, evolving it to include new areas of interest such as esports.
Samantha Foltmar, Head of Digital at Astralis: "I am very honored and excited to be part of the Astralis family. My 10 years of experience in entertainment and fan culture in social media seems like an obvious match to Astralis and esports. To me look, Astralis is one of the most ambitious and forward-thinking brands in terms of their global digital footprint across multiple platforms, and I can't wait to do my part and be part of the future journey to the stars."
In addition, Foltmar held a similar position at Universal Music Group, where she worked for six years. In doing so, she has managed to launch the company's digital channels and has many partnerships with popular Danish artists.
Foltmar's portfolio includes founding Diginist, a network for digital media professionals across industries. The women-led company offers information from experts in political organizations, public and private companies, media agencies, and the music and film industry.
