North American esports organization Complexity Gaming has announced the expansion of its existing partnership with the US Army. As part of the updated deal, the parties will hold a tournament for active duty soldiers.

Starting May 28, Soldier Showdown will see teams competing in a 23-week season across Halo Infinite, Rocket League, Call of Duty: Warzone, Madden NFL 22, and Apex Legends. Those who reach the top of the table will receive prizes ranging from Complexity Gaming branded merchandise to gift cards.

Justin Kenna, CEO of GameSquare Esports: "Our partnership with the US Army continues to be one of our most rewarding. This year, we are doubling down on our 3-year relationship and hosting our most ambitious Soldier Showdown to give our service members and women the opportunity to strengthen their communication with each other and enjoy friendly competition".

The US Army is one of the six partners of Complexity Gaming. The North American club currently has partnerships with Twitch, Herman Miller and Lenovo, among others.

Recall that the parties first entered into a partnership agreement in June 2019.
