Astralis extends partnership with Esportal
The Danish eSports organization Astralis has extended its partnership agreement with Esportal, a platform for selecting teammates. Note that the parties entered into a partnership for the first time nine months ago. Esportal is an esports platform for finding teammates and matches, reminiscent of FACEIT and ESEA in its functions. The platform has previously partnered with the German esports organization BIG.
Kasper Sindt, Astralis Commercial Director: "Esportal is the leading matchmaking platform in Northern Europe, providing players with the opportunity to compete and connect in a positive, fun and competitive environment. We have created a tournament and matchmaking format that combines Esportal's experience with Astralis' brand and value, and we are delighted with how it has been received and used by thousands of Counter-Strike players daily. Now we are introducing monthly tournaments and quarterly events at Astralis Nexus, our large gaming and entertainment center in the center of Copenhagen. We will also see a lot of exciting new content in our social media and YouTube channels."
During the first nine months of the partnership, Astralis players played on servers hosted by Esportal with other Nordic players. Astralis now plans to host a series of monthly and quarterly tournaments at the Astralis Nexus, the organization's new headquarters in Copenhagen.
Astralis and Esportal first signed a partnership last summer, resulting in the organization hosting a series of tournaments on the platform. According to the club's management, the community has responded positively to the tournaments.
According to Sindt, the main idea of cooperation with Esportal is to bring the gaming community even closer. In addition to digital and physical activations, the updated partnership agreement includes a commercial and advertising part. The parties agree to no longer comment on commercial value.
