BLAST Premier renews partnership with Coinbase
The BLAST Premier esports tournament series announces the extension of its partnership agreement with the cryptocurrency company Coinbase for one year. As part of the partnership, the tournament operator plans to produce a mini-documentary series called "In-Game Innovators". In addition, Coinbase received branding space at all seven BLAST Premier events in 2022.
Recall that BLAST Premier and Coinbase first entered into a partnership last year. At the same time, the branding of the company appeared already at the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown in April and June. As with the first partnership, Coinbase will continue to sponsor the BLAST Premier broadcast segment called "The Economy Play".
Recall that in early January, BLAST Premier extended its partnership agreement with the CS.MONEY platform. Also, the organizers of the tournament series presented the calendar for the 2022 season, increasing the total prize pool to $2.47 million, distributed over seven championships.
That being said, Coinbase is no stranger to the esports scene. The company is currently partnering with organizations such as Evil Geniuses, BIG, and Team Liquid.
