FIFA and EA Announce Expansion of the Esports Program in FIFA 22

FIFA and Electronic Arts have announced their new esports program, specially designed to mark the launch of FIFA 22. According to the announcement, the new program will allow players from more than 70 countries to compete in FIFA, making it one of the world's largest competitive gaming ecosystems.

The new program will feature 1x1 and 2x2 competitions, which will allow players to represent themselves, esports organizations, football clubs and their country in a variety of esports events.

The three events featured in EA's esports program are the FIFAe Nations Series 2022 Club Series, and the EA SPORTS FIFA 22 Global Series, which is on track for the 2022 FIFAe World Cup, all taking place next summer.

Qualifying for the EA SPORTS FIFA 22 Global Series will begin on November 27th in the traditional 1x1 competitive format, which will be featured in online tournaments in 10 regions of the world.

In addition, more than 30 leagues will offer eSports programs as official partners, giving fans the opportunity to represent real-life clubs in their region.
