Electronic Arts has announced Apex Legends Mobile
Electronic Arts has officially announced Apex Legends Mobile. Regional beta tests of the game will begin this month.
The game, simply called Apex Legends Mobile, will have similar gameplay mechanics, but will be adapted for mobile devices.
Apex Legends Mobile will only be available on devices running the Android operating system. However, the game director of Apex Legends added that the game will receive iOS support later this year.
Since its release in 2019, Apex Legends has partnered with companies like Lenovo and PGL, and has also built its own esports ecosystem. EA announced this year that the 2021 Apex Legends Global Series (ALGS) Championship will have a prize pool of $ 1 million.
Apex Legends Mobile will not offer cross-platform functionality, with the developers pointing out that the game is designed specifically for mobile devices. The game itself will be free and will have a separate Battle Pass system with its own set of unlockable in-game items.
