Leo Matlock, VP of Commerce, BLAST:“Apex Legends has become an extremely popular game since its launch in early 2019, and BLAST believes that growth and esports infrastructure will continue their fantastic upward trajectory. We are pleased to introduce BLAST Titans to the community and bring our famous broadcast, production together with our commercial and media partners to create a unique experience for Apex Legends and a wider gaming audience. "

The event will air exclusively live on Twitch and will run over two weekends, the first of which runs from July 23rd to 25th. These 40 teams will be comprised of the top 20 teams in Europe based on their recent tournament kit, 10 iconic teams that will be invited to compete and 10 teams that will earn a spot in the open qualifiers.

This is not the first time that BLAST has held a tournament in free disciplines. Earlier in June, BLAST Premier teamed up with Fortnite to host the FNCS All-Star Showdown, marking an intermediate stage in the game's tournament circuit.
