BLAST Premier expands partnership with DouYu in the field of media rights
The BLAST Premier Tournament Series announced the renewal and expansion of its media rights to the Chinese streaming service DouYu.
As part of the deal, DouYu will retain exclusive broadcast rights in China until the end of the 2021 BLAST Premier season and will expand them to Huya and Bilibili streaming platforms.
In addition, DouYu will have the opportunity to host the first ever BLAST event in China with the BLAST Premier Fall Qualifier.

The news comes after the BLAST Premier series secured a number of new media deals, including agreements with TV channels SportsMax and Nordic Entertainment Group. As such, the series will air in a number of regions, including Canada, India and Lithuania.
According to a press release, the tournament organizer's portfolio currently includes over 35 media rights partners, while the product itself is broadcast in 18 different languages and over 150 television territories.
