BLAST tournaments for 2021 announced

In 2021, the BLAST Premier confrontation will begin in February and end with a big final in December. February 4 will start the championships from this series in the new year. More than a hundred teams will take part in the events, according to the organizers. 12 of them are organizations that have partnerships with a tournament operator.

As for the format of the tournaments, it will not have the simplest and most extensive system. The organizers of BLAST Premier are on the side of a rational approach to scheduling, and therefore they will approach the organization of tournaments with the utmost responsibility throughout the year. RFRSH Entertainment will try to make sure that neither qualifications nor main events overlap in the championships of other organizers, and all matches are held at a convenient time for players and spectators. Thus, they want to solve the problem of burnout of the players.

BLAST Premier 2021 will have two seasons. Each of them, in turn, will be divided into three stages: Series, Showdown and Finals. The best contributors from all episodes will have the opportunity to perform at the highly anticipated Global Finals, which will be the cherry on top of the cake in 2021. The final championship of the BLAST Premier series will take place from 14 to 18 December.

As a reminder, 100 Thieves is still one of BLAST Premier's partner organizations. In October, club representatives announced that the organization is leaving CS: GO and will focus on other disciplines. At the moment, it is not clear whether the club will sign a new roster to participate in BLAST Premier or refuse the slot/sell its place in BLAST Premier.

Some of the dates announced are the same as those presented by ESL for next year. According to the HLTV portal, the aforementioned tournament operator will soon announce small changes in the schedule.
