fnatic Sign Dmytro "jambo" Semera, Replace Burmylov in Active Lineup

fnatic have officially signed Dmytro "jambo" Semera from Passion UA, who will join the active roster in place of Denys "Burmylov" Buraga, now moved to the bench.

This marks fnatic's third AWPer change in just six months, following the departures of Aurélien "afro" Drapier in September and Tim "nawwk" Jonasson in January.

Burmylov spent only two months with the team, during which he posted an average 1.01 rating. Despite participating in several CCT tournaments, fnatic struggled to deliver consistent results, with their best run being a runner-up finish in CCT Series 19.

His replacement, jambo, is a rising talent who caught the community’s attention after a standout performance with Passion UA at the Perfect World Shanghai Major in late 2024. At just 20 years old, he now reunites with his former in-game leader, Rodion "fear" Smyk, as fnatic aim to rebuild and return to top-tier competition.

fnatic have already planned a bootcamp starting March 24 to integrate jambo into the team. Shortly after, they’ll compete in the Galaxy Battle STARTER playoffs and the PGL Astana Europe Closed Qualifier—two key events on the road to the BLAST.tv Austin Major Regional Qualifiers.
