s-chilla Returns to Passion UA Ahead of Crucial Major Qualifier Push

Passion UA have officially welcomed back Vsevolod "s-chilla" Shchurov, filling the gap left by Dmytro "jambo" Semera, who joinedfnatic last Friday.

The 19-year-old had previously stepped away from the team in January, despite their strong showing at the Perfect World Shanghai Major, citing burnout and the need for a break from competitive play. Now, just in time, he returns to bolster the roster during a pivotal moment.

With s-chilla's return, Passion UA manage to preserve their core lineup from last year, after Rodion "fear" Smyk and jambo both made moves to fnatic. This continuity is key for maintaining their position in the Valve Regional Standings, especially with Major invites for the BLAST.tv Austin Major and its qualifiers set to go out on April 7.

Currently sitting at 30th place in Europe, Passion UA are just a few ranks shy of clinching a spot in the European Major Regional Qualifier (RMR). Their upcoming performances in the Galaxy Battle STARTER playoffs and the PGL Astana Europe Closed Qualifier will likely determine their fate.

However, the team now faces a new challenge: the loss of their primary AWPer, a role previously held by jambo, leaves a strategic gap in the lineup.
