BLEED Signs Tim "nawwk" Jonasson and Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad from Apeks
BLEED has officially announced the acquisition of Tim "nawwk" Jonasson and Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad from Apeks, swiftly filling their roster after Apeks revealed plans to revamp their team on May 1, placing the entire lineup on the transfer list.
Changes in BLEED's Roster
The addition of nawwk and jkaem has resulted in Vladan "VLDN" Radević and Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov being moved to the bench. VLDN had joined the team in March as a replacement for Laurențiu "lauNX" Țârlea, while CeRq had been with BLEED since its inception in December.
During their time with the team, they achieved notable successes such as qualifying for October's Thunderpick World Championship and securing a runner-up position in the RES Regional Series 2 last month, despite an otherwise inconsistent performance record.
Leadership's Perspective
"It's never easy to make decisions like these, but when the opportunity is there, you have to take it," said Aleksandar "kassad" Trifunović in an interview with HLTV. "Esports is a performance-based industry, and tough decisions are part of that. When I took this job, I knew there would be days like this."
He added, "Hampus and I together believe that these two players are going to take our game to the next level, especially because he worked with Tim before, and I have a long-standing successful relationship with Jod."
Future Prospects
With the seasoned players nawwk and jkaem, BLEED aims to break into the top 30 rankings for the first time. Both players were consistently top performers for Apeks, with nawwk averaging a 1.11 rating and jkaem a 1.13 rating in CS2.
Their addition comes just in time for BLEED's debut LAN appearance at the MESA Nomadic Masters Spring, scheduled from May 28 to June 2 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
