The Astralis team was considering acquiring Martin "stavn" Lund and Jakob "Jabbi" Nygaard for their CS:GO lineup for a sum ranging from $1.5 to $2 million. This information was disclosed by HLTV's Chief Editor, Milan "Striker" Švejda.

According to the source, the funds received from the transfer were intended to improve the financial situation of the Heroic team. So far, there have been no official comments from the club.

On November 24, 2023, stavn and Jabbi became part of Astralis' roster. Conflicts arose before this transfer. The Danish players pressured Heroic by stating they were willing to stay only if Kasper "cadiaN" Møller left the team.

Although Heroic parted ways with cadiaN, Lund and Nygaard still refused to sign new contracts and insisted on moving to Astralis. Heroic temporarily moved Jabbi and stavn to the bench and put them up for transfer. Møller acted as a substitute for the team at the BLAST Premier Fall Final 2023 tournament and left the club thereafter.

Analyst Lucas "Bubzkji" Andersen expressed his opinion about the deal between Heroic and Astralis, highlighting that this transfer ranks as one of the most significant in esports history.
