BLAST announced the teams invited to the closed qualifiers for the RMR tournament in the Americas

Tournament operator BLAST has officially approved the list of teams that will take part in the closed qualifiers for the RMR tournament in North America and Latin America. Guided by the updated rating from Valve, the organizers of the upcoming major invited sixteen teams to the qualifiers, eight in each of the two subregions.

It is reported that if one of the teams refuses the invitation, then its place will go to the next team in the ranking, and so on.

North American Closed Qualifiers:

• Complexity Gaming, MIBR, Vendetta, ATK, LOS + oNe, Nouns Esports, paiN Gaming and Evil Geniuses

Participants of the closed qualifier for Latin America:

• Fluxo, 9z, O PLANO, Corinthians Esports, 00NATION, Sharks Esports, Imperial Esports and Arctic eSports

Recall that the closed qualifiers for the RMR tournament in North America and Latin America will be held online from 17 to 19 February. Before that, the organizers will hold a series of open qualifying competitions, which will determine the full composition of the next qualifying stage.

BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 Americas RMR itself will take place from April 5 to 9 in the Mexican city of Monterrey.

• FURIA, Team Liquid + 14 teams from closed qualifiers (seven each for Latin and North America)
