The winners of the first six HLTV Award Show 2022 nominations have become known

Today, January 14, 2023, the HLTV information portal dedicated to CS:GO is holding the HLTV Awards Show 2022 ceremony. As part of the event, HLTV will give out awards in various categories, and will also announce the players who took places from 1st to 3rd in the top of the best players in 2022. Earlier we wrote that zakk is becoming the new coach of Imperial Esports.

The Born to Win had a good year, although it is certainly inferior to the masterpiece of 2021 in terms of the level of awards. The team won BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022, BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022 and Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: European RMR B. FaZe Clan became the main nemesis of the team, which stopped NaVi a step away from winning PGL Major Antwerp 2022 and Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Cologne. B1ad3 became a two-time coach of the year.

Thirty-two-year-old captain Finn 'karrigan' Andersen rightfully won the captain of the year award. The championship at BLAST Premier: Spring Groups 2022, Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Katowice, ESL Pro League Season 15, PGL Major Antwerp 2022 and Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Cologne demonstrate that age is not a hindrance to playing Counter-Strike.

Bosnian Nikola 'NiKo' Kovač this year can boast of only one victory, but what. The triumph at BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 brought G2 Esports an impressive $500,000 and NiKo the title of the best entry fragger of 2022.

Sergey 'Ax1Le' Rykhtorov became the lurker of the year. Of the achievements, it is worth noting the victories at Funspark ULTI 2021 and Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Dallas together with Cloud9 and Gambit Esports.
