Valve added NAVI to the list of Major champions after 13 months

Valve has updated the list of Major tournament winners on the official CS:GO website. More than 13 months have passed since the championship. Natus Vincere won the PGL Major Stockholm 2021 on November 7th.

The winners of the last two Major championships have not yet been announced. FaZe Clan became the champions of PGL Major Antwerp 2022 on May 22, while the Outsiders, in turn, won the Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022 on November 13.

At PGL Major Stockholm 2021, Natus Vincere started their way from The Legends Stage due to good results during the season. At the Legends stage, they became the first participants to reach the playoffs. The stunning performance continued in the final stage, where NaVi also never lost. Thus, s1mple and his comrades did not lose on any map and became the undisputed champion of PGL Major Stockholm 2021.

In the final, Born to Win defeated G2 Esports with a 2-0 result and received the main reward of $1,000,000, which was the largest in the history of Major CS:GO competitions.

In addition to s1mple, electronic, Boombl4, Perfecto and b1t also played in Natus Vincere at that time.

The last tournament in which NAVI took part was BLAST Premier World Final 2022. S1mple and the company made it through the group stage, finishing in Group B in 3rd place. In the playoffs, they failed to defeat Team Liquid, taking one card from them. As a result, NAVI took 5th-6th place in the standings and earned a cash reward of $25,000.
