Sprout has officially parted ways with slaxz-
The German esports organization Sprout has announced changes to its CS:GO roster, saying goodbye to slaxz-. Recall that the 24-year-old German sniper played for the team for two seasons. Remarkably, the first talk about the eSports player leaving the club appeared back in August, but participation in the Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022 delayed the process of leaving until the end of the year.
Today we say goodbye to slaxz-. We are so grateful for the memories we made together over the past two years. Your passion and dedication to the team will never be forgotten, we wish you all the best in your future endeavours. Take care, champion!
slaxz- joined Sprout at the very beginning of 2021, having moved from the ALTERNATE aTTaX camp. Over the next two seasons, the 24-year-old German sniper helped the team win UNITED Pro Series Winter 2020, European Development Championship Season 2, ESL Meisterschaft: Spring 2021, ESL Meisterschaft: Autumn 2021, UNITED Pro Series Summer 2021 and ESEA Season 39: Premier Division - Europe, as well as get into the TOP-3 at ESL European Championship Winter 2020, ESL Challenger at DreamHack Valencia 2022, Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: European RMR A and Elisa Masters Espoo 2022.
However, the peak of slaxz-'s career as part of Sprout was the participation in the Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022, where the Danish team managed to get one victory at the Legends stage and take 12-14th place.
It was a wild ride, it's a good decision for everyone involved. Thank you for everything, I met wonderful people during my time at Sprout and also the people I call friends today! I wish you all the best next season. From today I am open to suggestions. I am insanely motivated to get back to work with the team,” wrote slaxz-.
The nearest championship for the Danish team is ESL Challenger League Season 44: Europe. In addition, Sprout will take part in Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023 and ESL Pro League Conference Season 17 in February. However, there is no additional information about the future of this roster. It is likely that the organization will continue to move away from the German scene, building a team around the head coach.
