Rumors: nipl will replace sdy in NAVI

According to an OverDrive insider, the Ukrainian esports organization NaVi is preparing to make changes to its CS:GO roster, saying goodbye to sdy. It is expected that the fifth player will be nipl, who has been playing for the youth roster of NAVI Junior for a year now.

sdy is unlikely to remain in NAVI, most likely it will be replaced by nipl. It can happen after two BLAST tournaments, or it can happen already in Abu Dhabi!

Talks about the possible departure of sdy from the "Born to Win" camp have been going on for more than a month. However, in the summer, the Ukrainian club dispelled doubts by deciding to continue performing with the esportsman until IEM Rio Major 2022. Nevertheless, after the end of the major, the community again started talking about possible changes in the NAVI roster.

Recall that sdy joined NAVI in June 2022. In five months, the 25-year-old Ukrainian esportsman helped the team win BLAST Premier: Spring Finals 2022, BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022 and Intel Extreme Masters Road to Rio 2022: European RMR B, take second place in Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Cologne, and reach the quarterfinals of IEM Rio Major 2022

According to OverDrive, the main candidate to replace Orudzhev is nipl, the current player of NAVI Junior. Together with the youth team of Born to Win, the 17-year-old Ukrainian became the champion of ROG #StandWithUkraine Cup Summer 2022, and also took third place in the WePlay Academy League Season 6.

Changes are expected to come as teams go into winter break. However, according to the same OverDrive, NAVI can test the young player as part of BLAST Premier: World Final 2022, which will be held from December 14 to 18 in Abu Dhabi. At the same time, there are no prerequisites that the "Born to Win" will change the composition before the start of BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2022, which starts on November 23rd.
