Rumors: iDISBALANCE will join Evil Geniuses and replace CeRq

According to iTENCHUU, who is the administrator of the practice rooms, the North American esports organization Evil Geniuses plans to make changes to its main CS:GO roster. As part of the possible reshuffle, the club intends to part ways with its sniper CeRq, whose place will be taken by iDISBALANCE.

Note that these rumors confirm the latest news around a potential recruit of "Evil Geniuses". In particular, iDISBALANCE quickly disappeared from Nemiga Gaming, and is also located in the USA, where, according to the player himself, he has unfinished business. In addition, a potential transfer is indicated by the fact that neaLaN, the current captain of Evil Geniuses, is well acquainted with the esportsman from playing together for the Syman Gaming team.

iDISBALANCE has spent the last year and a half with Nemiga Gaming. Here, the 25-year-old sniper became the winner of ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Spring 2022 #3, and also got into the TOP-3 at INSANE FASTCUP #1, Funspark ULTI 2021: Europe Season 4, ESEA Cash Cup: Europe - Spring 2022 #6 and Global Offensive Champions League Season 1. However, the esportsman recently dropped out of the team to fly to North America.

In turn, CeRq has been the permanent sniper of Evil Geniuses since the signing of the NRG roster by the club in September 2019. Together with the team, the 22-year-old Bulgarian player won ESL One: New York 2019, StarSeries & i-League CS:GO Season 8, BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 American Finals and ESL One: Cologne 2020 Online - North America, and also took part in within PGL Major Stockholm 2021 and Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022.

However, CeRq's form has long raised questions from fans who have been concerned about the sniper's performance over the past season and a half.

The nearest championship for the North American team is ESL Pro League Season 17, but there is a chance to see Evil Geniuses earlier than expected. In any case, it will be interesting to watch the possible transfer of iDISBALANCE, especially since with its transfer the team will not be required to relocate to Europe to participate in the RMR cycle.

Possible composition of Evil Geniuses in CS:GO discipline:

  • Brehze
  • automatic
  • HexT
  • neaLaN
  • Vorborg (coach)
