Astralis introduced a new youth coach
The Danish esports organization Astralis has introduced a new youth CS:GO coach. From now on, casle, who replaced MODDII, will work with the club's young players. At the same time, Astralis Talent's roster left vigg0, who had been playing in the organization's academy since its inception.
Kasper Hvidt, Athletic Director of Astralis: "We would like to thank Andreas for his work with Astralis Talent. We saw very good results and he shared many valuable ideas. We would also like to thank vigg0 for his long tenure with our roster. Nevertheless, vigg0 will not leave the Astralis organization completely as he continues his work in our game and event hub Astralis Nexus."
MODDII has led the Astralis Talent team since May of this year. In three months, the 33-year-old Swedish specialist helped the team take fourth place in WePlay Academy League Season 5, as well as get into the TOP-6 at WePlay Academy League Season 4 and Dust2.dk Ligaen Season 20.
As for casle, the 35 year old has spent the last year at the helm of MASONIC. Under his leadership, the Danish team has made incredible progress on the TIER-3 scene, winning the Dust2.dk Ligaen Season 20, and also making it to the top three in the OMEN WGR European Challenge 2022 and BACK TO BACK Tournament.
casle, Astralis Talent's new coach: "I'm thrilled to be joining the journey as Astralis Talent's coach. I'm looking forward to developing Counter-Strike talent in the future and I'm sure we can achieve a lot with the roster that Astralis provides".
At the same time, Astralis Talent is leaving vigg0. The 32-year-old Dane has been part of the team since its inception, winning Gamebox Invitational 2022 and MistGames Heroes of Tomorrow with it, as well as finishing third at WePlay Academy League Season 3.
Note that this is not the only change in the composition of the Danish team over the past month - a little earlier, Astralis Talent parted ways with Fessor and brzer.
Updated roster of Astralis Talent:
- MistR
- Altekz
