Stewie2K Officially Leaves Evil Geniuses to Become a Content Creator
Stewie2K has officially announced his departure from the main roster of Evil Geniuses. At the same time, the 24-year-old American esportsman will remain in the structure of the organization, becoming a content creator in the VALORANT and CS:GO disciplines.
I am happy to announce that I will be streaming VALORANT and CS:GO for the Evil Geniuses content creator team. For now, I will move away from competitive CS and focus on my streamer career. Thank you to those who have joined us and many more! My future is yet to be decided, so check back tonight's stream.
Stewie2K is one of the most popular players in North America. Having appeared on the scene back in 2015, the 24-year-old esportsman managed to celebrate victories at ELEAGUE Major: Boston 2018, ESL Pro League Season 9 - Finals and BLAST Pro Series: Los Angeles 2019, among others. In addition, the American took the Intel Grand Slam Season 2 as part of Team Liquid in record time.
However, the last seven months have been a real disaster for Stewie2K's career. Together with Evil Geniuses, the American failed all the championships, failing to get to the major along the way.
The Evil Geniuses organization is rumored to be shaking up their core roster, intending to sign misutaaa and neaLaN. If these transfers go through, the team will face a move to Europe as the club moves away from the North American lineup for the first time in a long time.
The next championship for the main roster of Evil Geniuses will be BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022, which will start in mid-August. At the same time, the team will start its way through the open qualifiers for the RMR tournament.
The likely composition of Evil Geniuses in the CS:GO discipline is as follows:
- automatic
- Brehze
- CeRq
- misutaaa
- neaLaN
