Complexity Gaming are considering replacing their sniper

Information has appeared on the Internet that Complexity Gaming are likely to change their sniper Paytin 'Junior' Johnson. The club's management began to come to this decision after the completion of the Intel Extreme Masters Cologne 2022 Play-In. At this tournament, Complexity Gaming took 21-24 places out of 24 possible and, together with paiN Gaming, ORDER and MIBR, became the first participant to leave the event.

Junior, who previously played in FURIA Esports and Bad News Bears, actively tried to gain a foothold on the Tier-1 scene and while participating in the Challengers stage of PGL Antwerp Major 2022, the esportsman showed good results and was in second place in the rating among all participants in the championship. Complexity Gaming, despite the improvement of Junior, want to make a replacement and improve their position in their CS:GO roster. Based on this, we can conclude that the club's management already has some ideas regarding this. Insiders report that Complexity Gaming will try to sign CS:GO players from the European segment in order to transport them to North America later.

Paitin Johnson's path as part of Complexity Gaming began on January 18 of this year, and during this time the cybersportsman managed to play in fourteen championships of various levels. His debut took place at BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2022, where she took 10-12th place along with her teammates. Later, the player played in the fifteenth season of the ESL Pro League, where he took 17-20th position and earned $12,500 with the team. He also placed 5th-8th at the Global Esports Tour Dubai 2022 where the team earned $12,500. In all other championships, Complexity Gaming showed rather mediocre results and the organization's management decided to change the CS:GO roster. The sniper tried to find a solution that would help him gain a foothold in the Tier-1 scene, but the AWP in his hands often failed the shooter and the results were much worse than those expected from the American.

At the beginning of this year, Complexity Gaming decided to take under their wing the core of the Extra Salt roster represented by floppy, FaNg and JT. The eSports club was counting on teamwork and improving the game form by raising Grim and junior, but this game was not worth the candle, as time has shown.

Today will be the last day when Complexity Gaming will be able to make changes to the roster, because before the start of BLAST Premier Fall Groups, scheduled for August 19, there will be a roster lock on July 28 and after that it will be impossible to change the composition. When various portals turned to Complexity for comments, the latter refused to give them.

Paytin 'Junior' Johnson's career began in 2018 under the Hot Ass tag. Later, he played in lineups such as Recon 5, Triumph, FURIA Esports and was on loan from Bad News Bears. The most solid achievement of the esportsman is the 3rd-4th place at ESL Pro League Season 13. The list of good achievements can also include the victory at Fragadelphia 15 and the 7th-8th place at IEM Katowice 2022.

Complexity Gaming's roster with Junior on the bench will look like this:

  • JT
  • FaNg
  • floppy
  • Grim
  • Junior (substitute)
  • TC (coach)
