gla1ve shared his thoughts on the shape of Astralis
gla1ve, captain of Astralis, shared his thoughts on the team's current form. In particular, the 26-year-old Dane stressed that the team does not understand why it faces problems and shows poor results in the new season.
It's hard to fight to get out of groups when you're used to winning tournaments. This is a new reality that we all need to get used to. Don't think too much about the past. Better to focus on how to improve your game. Now Astralis has a brand new team that I don't compare to the one they had before. Why do it? We have different players, different coach, different roles and much more.
We don't know what Astralis' problems are. If they had known, they would have fixed it a long time ago. This is probably the most difficult question we all need to answer. To do this, we try completely different approaches to building the game and try to perform as stable as possible. As soon as a solution to the problem is found, our team will approach the top five of the world ranking, which is still very far away.
In the current meta, any lineup needs a good individual game. We need people who are able to win rounds on their own. We have a lot to make up for in tactical terms, but life will be much easier if each player is activated and begins to show their best individual qualities.
The day before, Astralis lost to G2 Esports with a score of 1:2 and left Intel Extreme Masters Season XVII - Dallas, taking 9th-12th place.
