maLeK leaves G2 Esports
maLeK decided to leave the coaching post at G2 Esports. A 35-lazy French specialist said that he had decided to leave the organization even before the start of PGL Major Stockholm 2021.
"Today the great adventure ends. I was the head coach of G2 for three years, and it's good that everything went quickly! The decision to leave was made a few weeks before PGL Major 2021, and I enjoyed every moment of our last work with the guys, " wrote trainer in a farewell post.
maLeK became the head of G2 Esports in November 2018. For three years of work, 35 leagues, the French specialist led the team to victories in the Good Game League 2019, Champions Cup Finals, BLAST Premier: Spring 2020 Regular Season, BLAST Premier: Fall 2020 Regular Season and BLAST Premier: Spring Showdown 2021. In addition,, under his leadership, the team took second place at ESL Pro League Season 9 - Finals, cs_summit 5, Intel Extreme Masters XIV - World Championship, Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Cologne and PGL Major Stockholm 2021.
At the moment, it is not known who will lead the team. Very soon, G2 Esports will take part in Intel Extreme Masters XVI - Winter, which will start on December 2.
