JW leaves the Fnatic organization
JW has officially left the Fnatic organization. The 26-year-old Swedish player has hinted that he has no intention of ending his esports career. In a statement, JW said that he will remain in Counter-Strike and will be working as hard as possible on his game in the near future to start a new chapter of his career with a new team.
The Swede has represented the Fnatic organization since 2013, temporarily saying goodbye to the team for six months from August 2016 to February 2017. After a short trip to GODSENT, the player returned to the team, where he spent another four and a half years. However, in July 2021, JW left the main team, falling under another wave of layoffs.
Note that the 26-year-old player has won many trophies with Fnatic, including ESL ESEA Pro League Season 1 - Finals, ESL ESEA Pro League Season 2 - Finals, FACEIT 2015 Stage 3 Finals, Intel Extreme Masters X - World Championship, Intel Extreme Masters XII - World Championship, World Electronic Sports Games 2017 and DreamHack Masters Malmö 2019.
In addition, JW has won three World Championships: DreamHack Winter 2013, ESL One: Katowice 2015 and ESL One: Cologne 2015.
