Black Ops 6 August Playlist Update Brings Snipers Only, Nuketown 24/7 & More

Treyarch Studios has rolled out a fresh playlist update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, bringing back some of the community’s favorite modes. The update is server-side only, meaning no download is required, and is already live on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

🆕 New Playlist Rotation

Players can now jump into:

  • Snipers Only 🎯 – No equipment, no field upgrades, limited scorestreaks. The only way to eliminate enemies is with Sniper Rifles.
  • Stakeout 24/7 🏚️ – Constant action on the fan-favorite map.
  • Nuketown 24/7 🏠 – The chaotic classic returns, non-stop.
  • Small Map Moshpit 🔥 – Tight, fast-paced combat.
  • Aim High 🎯 – Precision-focused action.
  • Party Games: Blueprint Sharpshooter 🛠️
  • Party Games: Blueprint Gun Game

📅 Season 5 Recap

This playlist refresh comes just a week after Season 5 launched on August 7, bringing:

  • Two new multiplayer maps 🗺️
  • A remastered W.M.D. from the original Black Ops
  • New weapons and a fresh Battle Pass
  • Warzone’s Stadium POI reopened 🏟️ — a throwback to its original glory

The seasonal update added major content to Multiplayer, Zombies, and Warzone, keeping both paid and free-to-play fans engaged.

🚀 Looking Ahead — Black Ops 7 Reveal

With only one more season expected before Black Ops 6 support ends, attention is shifting to Black Ops 7. Activision has confirmed a worldwide reveal on August 19, just days away.
