Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Mode Set to Revolutionize Gameplay with Increased Player Count and Epic Boss Battles

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is poised to deliver a groundbreaking twist on the beloved Zombies mode, one that will scarcely resemble its initial iterations. Abandoning the traditional round-based format, this new incarnation promises an expansive map and, according to rumors, a significantly larger player count compared to the typical four-player experiences of previous games.

The expanded player count in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3's Zombies mode is expected to introduce a new level of gameplay diversity, potentially introducing even more challenging in-game trials. Recent Zombies iterations have been celebrated for their inclusion of boss battles and special infected enemies, and Modern Warfare 3 appears set to take this concept to unprecedented heights.

Reports indicate that Modern Warfare 3's Zombies will accommodate four squads of six players, resulting in a total of 24 players in a single match. This aligns with the Outbreak Zombies format from Black Ops Cold War, which MW3's Zombies is poised to adopt. The core gameplay of Outbreak involves sprawling open maps, and instead of surviving rounds, players will need to accomplish various objectives to progress to the next area. Some Outbreak maps even feature vehicles reminiscent of Warzone gameplay.

Furthermore, it is rumored that Modern Warfare 3's initial Zombies map will be the largest ever seen in the mode, with speculations suggesting it may be a twisted variation of the current Warzone map, Al Mazrah. If this speculation holds true, the increased player count in MW3 Zombies becomes more logical, as Treyarch appears to be expanding on the scale of Cold War's Outbreak Zombies.

In the past, Outbreak Zombies featured epic boss battles, with encounters against the Orda being one of the most thrilling aspects of the mode. In Cold War, the Orda were colossal, menacing creatures that could spawn in-game. Players who dared to face these behemoths were rewarded with legendary loot upon victory. Reports also indicate that Modern Warfare 3's Zombies will continue the Dark Aether storyline from Cold War, potentially featuring appearances by the Orda creature.

With 24 players wielding significantly more firepower than Cold War's four-player format, Modern Warfare 3 Zombies has the potential to introduce boss battles on a scale never before seen in the franchise. For instance, players might confront multiple Ordas simultaneously or face a single Orda of unprecedented power. This shift could also have a profound impact on the Easter eggs within Modern Warfare 3's Zombies mode. Easter eggs have long been a challenging aspect of Zombies gameplay, often requiring exceptional skill and cooperation among players to complete intricate hidden objectives in exchange for substantial rewards. Many past Easter egg quests have culminated in epic boss battles, and a boss designed for 24 players would be a spectacle to behold.

With the heightened player count in MW3 Zombies, the intensity of encounters is likely to rise significantly, both in terms of the frequency of regular zombies and the potency of boss battles. 24-player matches have the potential to revolutionize the Zombies experience, and Treyarch aims to reflect this evolution in the formidable bosses that players will likely encounter.
