Iron Blood Gaming became the champion of Call of Duty Challengers Finals 2022
Call of Duty Challengers Finals 2022 has come to an end. As part of the championship, which was held from August 5 to 6 in Los Angeles at the Galen Center, eight teams from Europe, Oceania, North and South America fought for a prize pool of $250,000. The tournament was sensationally won by the Iron Blood Gaming team, which beat Ultra Academy NA 3:2 in the grand final; 3:1.
The championship for the future winner began with a difficult victory over the Spaniards from AYM Esports (3:2). However, further on, the North American team lost without a chance to Ultra Academy NA (0:3), thus falling into the lower bracket.
Here, Iron Blood Gaming unexpectedly got stronger, managing to outplay Team Xposed (3:1), AYM Esports (3:1) and Team WaR (3:1) in turn, and at the same time get into the grand final. In the final match of the competition, the team sensationally defeated Ultra Academy NA in two matches (3:2; 3:1), thanks to which they became the winner of the Call of Duty Challengers Finals 2022 and earned a prize of $100,000.
Note that this is the first major achievement in the asset of Iron Blood Gaming. The team made it to the championship with only the fourth seed, which did not prevent it from becoming a champion and beating the main favorite in the grand final.
