Rumor: Nivera will join Team Liquid

According to sources close to VLR and Upcomer, Nivera will join Team Liquid. The 20-year-old Belgian player is reported to be replacing Kryptix.

The original Team Liquid roster was formed last August when the European organization signed the fish123 roster consisting of ec1s, soulcas, Kryptix, L1NK, ScreaM. During this period, the team managed to make a name for itself in Europe, making their way to First Strike Europe in December.

However, in the new season, Team Liquid started having its first problems related to unsatisfactory results at major tournaments. In February, the team invited Jamppi, who replaced ec1s in the main roster. However, after the fourth place in the framework of VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík, the team did not manage to qualify for Berlin, obviously starting to look for ways to solve in-game difficulties.

Nivera is currently on the Vitality CS: GO bench. In March 2021, the 20-year-old Belgian player went intoactive, repeatedly appearing in the media with news of a possible transfer to VALORANT. Interestingly, in May, an insider NeL published a report in which he wooed Nivera into Team Liquid according to VALORANT. If rumors are confirmed, the Belgian will reunite with ScreaM, who is also his brother.

Recall that in a month the team will compete in the VCT 2021: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier, where it will try to qualify for VALORANT Champions 2021 at the end of the year.
