According to insider George Geddes, thief and stellar will leave Luminosity Gaming. The organization intends to terminate the contracts with the two players as early as August 25, that is, about a year after they joined the team.

Both players were transferred to the Luminosity Gaming bench at the end of May and have appeared in other teams since then. For example, thief competed for Verion1 in VCT 2021: North America Stage 3 Challengers 1, with which he finished last in the championship. Since then, the American player has not appeared in official matches.

stellar has been more active, most recently appearing with OOKERS in the Nerd Street Gamers: Summer Championship. Together with the team, the 25-year-old player made it to the playoffs, where he quickly lost to the future winner Cloud9.

It is also reported that the organization does not plan to return to the main composition of the ban, which was sent to the stock at the beginning of the month. At the same time, Luminosity Gaming will start preparing for the VCT 2021: North America Last Chance Qualifier, which will take place in October, after the end of the VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Stage 3 Masters - Berlin.
