Global Esports becomes the champion of VCT 2026: Pacific Stage 2

After nearly two months of competition, VCT 2026: Pacific Stage 2 came to a close today, with teams battling for a spot at Champions 2026. In the event’s final match, Global Esports faced off against Nongshim RedForce, and after five intense maps, the Indian team emerged as the tournament champion.

First Map: Sunset

The match began on Sunset and turned out to be very even. The teams traded rounds, and there was no clear advantage for either side. After switching sides, the situation changed; the Ivy + Dumbi duo began to actively gain the upper hand, allowing T1 to win the first map with a score of 13–11.

Second Map: Split

On the next map, Split, the situation was completely different. T1 crushed their opponent 13–2, completely dominating Global.

Third Map: Abyss

The third map was Abyss, and the battle there was once again evenly matched. Global won the first half of the match with a round score of 7–5. After switching sides, T1 tried to stage a comeback and won the first two rounds, but Global held onto the initiative and won the map 13–10.

Fourth Map: Lotus

Once again, one side dominated. Global’s players conceded only one round to their opponents in the first half, and although T1 won four rounds in a row in the second half, it wasn’t enough. As a result, Global defeated Esports 13–5, tying the series.

Fifth Map: Haven

The match was decided on Haven, where the contest was once again evenly matched. The teams finished the first half tied at 6–6. After the sides switched, Global began to dominate more decisively. The team won 4 rounds, then lost 3, and ultimately edged out T1 with a score of 13–10.

As a result of the match, Global Esports becomes the champion of VCT 2026: Pacific Stage 2, earning $100,000 in prize money and a direct invite to Valorant Champions 2026. Nongshim RedForce, in turn, takes second place, earning $65,000 and also a direct spot in the upcoming world championship.
