Valorant Mobile: Leaks Reveal Exciting Features and Gameplay Teasers
The creation of a mobile version of Valorant has been in progress for several years, and fans have intermittently received tidbits of information about what to expect. Recently, a variety of leak and aggregation accounts on social media seem to have provided some of the most detailed insights into the mobile adaptation of this popular FPS game.
Over the past few days, these accounts have unveiled sneak peeks of what players can anticipate in the mobile version, including details about the Agent selection hub, the tablet interface, the mobile ranking system, rewards, Agent MVP animations, and gameplay replays.
Notably, one of the most significant revelations from these leaks pertains to the inclusion of a replay system and Agent MVP animations in the mobile version. Unlike the current PC version of Valorant, which lacks a replay system and highlights, the mobile iteration, upon launch, is expected to introduce these features. This contrasts with some other live service FPS titles like Call of Duty and Overwatch 2, which already incorporate such systems.
While Agent animations exist in the PC version of Valorant, they are primarily limited to the Agent selection menu and certain post-match screens.
Currently, players witness a brief animation and a voice line associated with their selected Agent at the start of each game, as well as a short team animation at the conclusion of each match. In contrast, the mobile version will offer additional animations featuring the player's chosen Agent, particularly after achieving MVP status in a match. These animations will showcase the Agent executing actions tied to their unique abilities, followed by an MVP screen displaying the player's match statistics.
One particularly dedicated account managed to access the beta version of the mobile game that was undergoing testing in China. This user even shared footage of themselves playing the game on a mobile device.
Thus far, the leaks have generated excitement among Valorant fans, as Riot Games continues to make progress toward delivering a full-fledged mobile version of the game, allowing players to enjoy Valorant on the go.
