Three teams have been disqualified from participating in the Legion Cup 2023 for VALORANT. An official statement indicates that certain players violated fair play standards, leading to the complete exclusion of their teams from the competition.

The organizers have not disclosed the identities of the violators or the nature of their infractions. However, upon analyzing the results of the qualifiers, it becomes apparent that the teams nahuntitled, Requiem, and Q_P are absent from the tournament's final stage. This suggests that players from these teams were suspected of fair play violations. In the playoffs, their spots were filled by teams that secured second place in the qualifiers.

The coach of the Requiem team, NeloGranz, announced the conclusion of his VALORANT career on his Twitter account but did not specify the reason for this decision. It is likely related to the situation that unfolded during the tournament.

Ivan Johnta Shevtsov shared his thoughts on what happened at the tournament on his Telegram channel.

The situation is complex but crucial for cleansing our community of dishonest actions.

People whom I supported and tried to help in their development have decided to behave dishonestly towards others and myself, avoiding accountability.

Their attempt has been unsuccessful. Teams and players who violated the rules have been excluded, and players have received fair punishment.

I have noted certain individuals for myself, and I want to remind everyone that dishonest actions will never be tolerated in the Ukrainian VALORANT community.

At my discretion, specific cases can be examined on a broader scale than just our environment. Therefore, I urge everyone who possesses reason and integrity to behave decently, respect others, or leave our community.

I am also willing to listen to those who believe they have been unfairly punished. But please remember that attempts to deceive me will be futile, as I already possess all the necessary information 100%.

I thank everyone who adheres to honest principles and demonstrates the values and norms of behavior that should be characteristic of a civilized society. We are moving forward and continuing to evolve.
