The head of esports VALORANT listed all the ways to earn partner teams

Leo Faria, head of the esports division for VALORANT, listed all the available ways to earn partner teams. In addition to in-game monetization from the sale of "named" content, clubs will receive a set scholarship and other payments that were previously agreed upon when concluding partnership agreements.

First of all, the teams are entitled to a one-time scholarship for participating in the league. Riot Games guarantees participants a certain level of income, but Faria did not disclose the exact amounts. According to insiders, teams will receive a minimum stipend of $600,000 and may be eligible for an additional $400,000 if they achieve certain results. It is likely that these payments will be used to cover the salaries of players and other operating expenses. In addition, the developers will pay for the relocation of teams to the venues of the championships.

In addition, teams can expect to earn revenue from both in-game items and monetized “team-branded content.” The first example of this will be the VCT LOCK//IN bundle that was promised during a recent dev livestream. However, a significant portion of the teams' profits will come from branded content that is still in development.

The next item is the payment of prize money from participation in the championships. In addition, teams will receive additional financial rewards for hosting various events, involving the community. Partner organizations are rumored to be eligible for an additional $400,000 if other conditions are met.
