Acend unveils new VALORANT roster
European esports organization ACEND has unveiled its new VALORANT roster. The team will compete in VALORANT Challengers 2023 East: Surge, having received a directive invitation from the championship organizers.
We did it once, we'll do it again! The journey back to the top begins in the East! Join us to welcome our roster for the 2023 season.
First of all, the club kept MONSTEERR in the team, who joined Acend in April last year. Together with him, ALIVE, a former player of Excel Esports, joined the team. The Israeli spent the last six months of his career here, having managed to win VALORANT Regional Leagues 2022 Northern Europe: Polaris Stage 2.
Acend's next newcomer is Br0die. The 23-year-old Brit played for TENSTAR and MAD Lions for a long time, and most recently won EPIC.LAN #37 - Official Beacon Event and The Goose House - BEACON Open Split 2 with Les Petits Bouffons. Another addition to the team was musashi, who spent the second half of last season with BIG.
BaddyG turned out to be the fifth player of the new roster of the organization. The 21-year-old Pole has extensive stage experience with teams such as Excel Esports, Alliance, FunPlus Phoenix and Team Vitality. As a reserve player, the club signed B3ASTM0D3 - a young Croatian previously played for the cowana Gaming team.
Acend will be coached by a familiar Nbs. The 32-year-old Lithuanian specialist has been working with the team for the past two years, winning VCT 2021: Europe Stage 1 Masters, VCT 2021: Europe Stage 3 Challengers 1, LVP - Rising Series - Finale and VALORANT Champions 2021.
The debut of the updated team roster will take place as part of VALORANT Challengers 2023 East: Surge Split 1, which will be held online from January 12 to March 12.
