Rumors: Carpe may move to VALORANT and become a T1 player
According to BLIX.GG, South Korean esports organization T1 is one step away from signing a contract with Carpe. The Overwatch pro player is expected to officially move into the VALORANT discipline and be part of VCT 2023.
Carpe is an active player in Overwatch. At the same time, the 24-year-old South Korean esportsman has spent the last five years in the Philadelphia Fusion, where he got into the TOP-3 in the Overwatch League - Inaugural Season Playoffs, Overwatch League - 2019 Stage 1 Playoffs, Overwatch League 2020 - Summer Showdown, Overwatch League 2022 - Kickoff Clash and Overwatch League 2022 - Summer Showdown.
The T1 organization was among the partners to participate in the VCT 2023 in Asia. The South Korean club will fight in the same League along with ZETA DIVISION, Global Esports, Gen.G Esports, DRX, DetonatioN Gaming, Team Secret, Rex Regum Qeon, Paper Rex and Talon Esports.
Note that these are not the first changes in the composition of T1 - earlier the club signed Ban, Sayaplayer and BeomJun, and also said goodbye to thwifo and steel.
