Riot Games unveiled the list of tournaments ahead of the start of the VCT 2023 season
Riot Games has revealed the list of tournaments that will be played in the VALORANT ecosystem ahead of the start of the VCT 2023 season. The new initiative, called VALORANT OFF //SEASON, aims to provide third-party tournament operators with the ability to host events outside of the classic ecosystem.
As a result, Riot Games will partner with various tournament operators including Red Bull, Beyond the Summit and Galaxy Racer to create a range of events. At the same time, the publisher will support the competition with a special information page, as well as real tips and tricks for creating events.
Europe
Eight championships will take place in the off-season in Europe. Some of them are continuations of the regional VRL leagues, others are brighter championships with the participation of leading teams, including VCT 2023 partners.

America
America will also host eight championships for every taste and color. Many of them are show matches or events involving popular streamers, but there are a few tournaments where professional teams will play.

Asia
In the upcoming off-season, nine tournaments will be organized for Asia at once, attracting teams from South Korea and Japan during this period.

Interestingly, Riot Games has not mentioned any specific boundaries for the tournaments, which means that the organizers themselves will have the ability to create competitions suitable for their respective regions. In addition, the publisher added that in the future the list of championships held may increase.
