Team Vitality part ways with VALORANT roster head coach
The French esports organization Team Vitality has officially announced the parting with the head coach of the VALORANT roster. Recall that Tanizhq worked with the team for five months, but during this time he managed to get into a scandal and lose his job for several weeks.
Today we are parting ways with our Head Coach for VALORANT. Thank you for this wonderful season and we wish you all the best for the future.
Tanizhq led Team Vitality's VALORANT roster this spring, having worked with the Giants at the start of the season. Over the next five months, the 25-year-old British specialist helped the team win the VALORANT Regional Leagues 2022 France: Revolution Stage 2, as well as take second place in the VALORANT Regional Leagues 2022: Finals.
However, to a greater extent, his work was remembered for the scandal due to statements on Twitter. The Tanizhq controversy erupted in June when a 25-year-old British specialist called the ZE1SH a "cockroach" and posted the middle finger. Immediately after that, the Team Vitality coach deleted the messages and closed the account, but the conversation still became a subject of publicity.
Within a week and a half, the interested parties were engaged in an internal investigation, as a result of which they came to the need to remove the coach from work. After his return, Tanizhq promised to work on himself, and even left social networks for a while.
Changes on the coaching bridge in Team Vitality occur during the start of the formation of partner leagues for the next competitive season. However, if the latest rumors are to be believed, the French esports organization has secured its place in the European League.
