NOM Esports owes almost $10,000 to former players

According to Dexerto, Israeli esports organization NOM eSports owes nearly $10,000 to former VALORANT players. Sources said the club also failed to deliver on a number of promises made to the team, including a bootcamp ahead of the VALORANT Regional Leagues 2022 East: Surge Stage 2 playoffs.

The sources added that NOM Esports regularly delayed salaries, and players often had to wait up to a month for payments.

The Israeli organization promised to provide the team with equipment from their partners, as well as custom-made jerseys with the names of the players from clothing sponsor Adidas, but these items were never delivered to the players.

During the regular season of VALORANT Regional Leagues 2022 East: Surge Stage 2, the club promised to organize a bootcamp for the team before the start of the playoffs, which at that time was planned in the LAN format. However, the organization later abandoned its plans, referring to the fact that the decisive stage of the championship was moved online.

Despite all the difficulties, the Czech-Polish team took third place at that championship, earning €2,800 in prize money. Since then, the club has tried to re-sign the players' contracts, but they have refused further cooperation with NOM Esports.

Following the release of the information, Tomer Bartov, the general manager of NOM Esports, who was contacted by Dexerto, confirmed that the organization had delayed the payment of the players' salaries, but claimed that the amount was less than $9,000.

According to the functionary, the organization has not yet received prize money from any stage of the VALORANT Regional Leagues 2022 East. This, he claims, "has had a direct impact on the planning of the team's cash flow and budget."

The Israeli organization recently announced that it was parting ways with its VALORANT roster, but promised to pay off the debt to the players after settling financial disputes with the organizers of VALORANT Regional Leagues 2022 East.

The latest NOM Esports VALORANT roster is as follows:

  • Hitch
  • freyy
  • almo
  • boby's
