Jovi steps down as analyst at OpTic Gaming
Jovi has announced that he is stepping down as an analyst for the North American team OpTic Gaming. The 28-year-old American specialist announced this on social networks, noting that he is open to a new challenge.
I no longer work with OpTic Gaming. Available for Last Chance Qualifiers and VALORANT Champions 2022 in any role.
Jovi was a long-term analyst for 100 Thieves until the 28-year-old took over at the start of the season. However, in five months, the American did not help the team achieve significant heights, having made it to the final of the Knights Arena Monthly Gauntlet 2022: February, as well as a failure in the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 1 Challengers and Proving Grounds $20k - Spring 2022.
However, in the spring, Jovi was called to work as an analyst at OpTic Gaming, with whom he immediately won the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 1 Masters - Reykjavík. The 28-year-old American went on to work with the team on a full-time basis to help them take second and third places on the VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: North America Stage 2 Challengers and VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen, respectively.
The nearest championship for the North American team will be VALORANT Champions 2022, which will be held in September in Istanbul. According to the players themselves, shortly before the start of the tournament, OpTic Gaming will arrive at the bootcamp in Europe to prepare for the final event of the 2022 season.
From now on, the OpTic Gaming roster for the VALORANT discipline is as follows:
- FNS
- Victor
- crashies
- yay
- Marvel
- Chet (head coach)
