L1NK became the fifth Acend player
European esports organization ACEND has completed the VALORANT roster by signing a contract with L1NK. The 23-year-old British player has spent the last two years with Team Liquid.
Bald head buff activated. Join us in welcoming L1NK as the latest member of the VALORANT roster for the upcoming VCT 2022: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier.
L1NK appeared on the scene back in April 2020, when he moved from the CS:GO discipline. After several months of successful performances for the fish123 team, the Briton, along with the roster, moved under the wing of the Team Liquid organization. Here, the 23-year-old esportsman spent two successful years, becoming the winner of VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals, VCT 2021: Europe Stage 3 Challengers 2, VCT 2021: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier and Red Bull Home Ground #2, as well as getting into the TOP -4 following the results of VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters - Reykjavík and VALORANT Champions 2021.
I am very happy to finally announce that I am joining Acend and going to give my all for VCT 2022: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier.! Thank you all for your support, see you soon on the server, — wrote the British player.
However, during the current season, L1NK did not come in handy for the "liquid" ones, which during the VCT 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers transferred it to inactive. In turn, Acend needed another boost after the departure of zeek. At the same time, the team was never able to return to the forefront of the European scene, as a result of which it was forced to make substitutions again.
The nearest championship for the European team will be VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier, which will be held from August 7 to 14. As part of the championship, Acend will compete for one ticket to VALORANT Champions 2022. It is already known that in the quarterfinals of the competition, Nbs wards will meet with M3 Champions.
From now on, the composition of Acend on VALORANT is as follows:
- cNed
- starxo
- vakk
- MONSTEERR
- L1NK
- Nbs (head coach)
- Milan (assistant coach)
