Acend allows players to consider individual offers
European esports organization ACEND is allowing its VALORANT roster to consider individual proposals. The players of the club reported this on their social networks. It is likely that the reason for this decision was the failure of the organization to enter the European League for the next season.
Despite the contract, Acend allowed me to explore options for next year. I am fully prepared to move and put all my efforts into VALORANT,” wrote MONSTEERR
With the end of my contract with Acend, I was allowed to explore options for 2023. I am fully motivated and even ready to move,” said L1NK
The original Acend roster was formed at the beginning of last year, but very quickly became a major force in the international arena, winning VALORANT Champions 2021. However, numerous lineup changes did not help the team show a decent result last season.
As a result, Acend failed at VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Stage 1 Challengers, VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers, and VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: EMEA Last Chance Qualifier, never playing internationally.
Well, the peak of all the difficulties of the club was the failure of Acend to be included in the final list of Riot Games partners for the next competitive season. At the same time, it is unclear whether the organization will remain in the discipline to participate in the TIER-2 scene, or will leave VALORANT until better times.
